Fear Overload Scream Park reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone.
The attractions of Fear Overload Scream Park are intense theatrical experiences. You will experience loud noises, bright lights, dark spaces, strobe lights, animatronics, and fog machines as well as damp or wet conditions and a physically demanding environment.
You should NOT enter if you are pregnant, have problems with claustrophobia, have heart, back or neck conditions, are prone to seizures, have casts, have respiratory problems or any other physical or mental limitation that will impair your ability to experience these attractions.
Visitors to Fear Overload Scream Park understand that there is an inherent risk in entering the haunted attractions. In consideration and acceptance of admission to Fear Overload Scream Park visitors agree to release the operator, its parent company, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and land owner from any liability for harm, injury, death or expense that may arise directly or indirectly from visiting Fear Overload Scream Park.
Do not enter the attractions if you are intoxicated, wearing any form of cast, medical brace, using crutches, or have any type of physical limitations. Do not enter the attractions if you are taking any type of medication or using drugs of any type. You will not be admitted if any of these conditions are notified to our staff.
Fear Overload Scream Park is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Do not take your phone out of your pocket. Leave all valuables at home.
The attractions are not recommended for children under the age of 12. Children under 16 must be with a person over 21 years old at all times.
By entering, you voluntarily assume the risk of personal injury or death.
Privacy
We respect your right to privacy and understand your desire to safeguard your personal information. As part of this Online ticketing process, we collect information about you, such as your name, address, and credit card information. Only the information that you provide is collected, no other. We may have links to other sites; please note that we do not control the privacy practices of other sites we may link to, and their policy may differ from ours.
Ways We Protect Your Information
While making your purchase, all your information is encrypted so that private information stays private. Also, we use an encrypted connection to transmit your payment information to our credit card processors.
We do not use “permanent” cookies; only “session” cookies. Session cookies do not contain any personal information. They only exist while your web browser is open, and are used to maintain your connection to our web servers.
Your information is stored in a secured database on servers housed in a secured data center. Firewalls, virus protection, physical security and other security technologies are all in place to protect our databases and your information.
We take extra precautions with credit card information. We require CVV (Card Verification Value) numbers to be entered with credit card numbers to prevent fraud. We do not store all of the credit card information you provide, e.g. we do not store your CVV number. We encrypt credit card numbers; we never store credit card numbers in plain text. Also, we never display a complete credit card number on any of our reports or pages; not even for our own employees.
We do not solicit information from children.

Your Online ticket purchase requires users to register and/or input certain personal information. We limit the requested information to that information which is reasonably required to process the transaction and identify you apart from other customers.
We never provide credit card information to anyone other than our credit card processors, and then only for the purpose of collecting payment.
We use your email address to send you a confirmation of your purchase. That confirmation email does not include your complete credit card number.
If we have trouble processing an order, or you need assistance, we use private information such as your email address or phone number to contact you. We may also use this information to notify you of event cancellations or changes.
We never sell, swap, trade or rent private information to anyone, except as described above.
Rules of the Haunted House
Do not smoke, run, eat, drink, touch the actors, customers, or props. Take off all jewelry before entering. High-heels are not permitted. You must wear close-toed shoes at all times. We do not permit the use of video or photography inside the haunted houses. Sources of light not provided by Fear Overload are prohibited, included phone lights and non-permitted flashlights. If you do not follow the rules, you will be asked to leave.

Video & Photography
- Mistreatment, Harassment, or the Assault of any Cast or Crew will result in your immediate REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT
- Illegal Substances and Weapons of any kind are STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- Recording/Flash Photography, Flashlights, Laser Pens, Lighters or any similar device are STICKTLY PROHIBITED inside the Haunted Attractions
- Food and Drink are not permitted inside the Haunted Attractions and must be disposed of prior to entry
- Guests are ONLY PERMITTED to smoke in designated areas. No smoking or vaping is allowed inside any of the attraction
Take off all jewelry before entering. No high-heels are permitted. You must wear close-toed shoes at all times. No video or flash photography may be used inside the haunted houses. Sources of light not provided by ScareGrounds PDX are prohibited, included phone lights and non-permitted flashlights.
Failure to comply with any of these rules and guidelines may result in you and/or your group being removed from the event. Enter at Own Risk.
SMS Contest Giveaway Terms
Terms and Conditions for Fear Overload Scream Park’s SMS Giveaway Contest as of Aug 16, 2024.
- Eligibility: The giveaway contest is open to participants who meet the following criteria:
- Reside in the USA
- Are 18] years of age or older
- Are not employees of Fear Overload Scream Park or their affiliates, nor members of their immediate families or households.
- Entry: To enter, participants must follow the instructions outlined in the SMS popup campaign on our website. Entry requirements include signing up for email and SMS, and retaining the subscription at least through October 27th 2024. Entries complete, accurate, or submitted after the deadline will be disqualified.
- Duration: The giveaway contest starts on August 16th 2024 and ends on October 27th 2024 at 12am PST. Only entries submitted before the deadline will be considered.
- Prize: The winner will receive 8 Immediate Admission Tickets to Fear Overload Scream Park, valid any day through November 2nd 2024. As defined in the terms, the prize is non-transferable, and there will be no cash alternatives to it. Sacramento Scream Park reserves the right to substitute the prize with a product or service of equal value.
- Winner Selection: The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries by the deadline. The winner will be notified by SMS within 1 day after the deadline. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, another winner will be selected.
- Liability: Fear Overload Scream Park is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to participants or their property related to their participation in the giveaway contest. Participants agree to release and hold harmless Fear Overload Scream Park and their affiliates from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the giveaway contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
- Governing Law: The giveaway contest and these terms and conditions are governed by and construed per the laws of the USA.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from or related to the giveaway contest or these terms and conditions will be resolved through binding arbitration per the rules of an Arbitration Service chosen by Fear Overload Scream Park. The arbitration will occur in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, and the arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding.
- Modification: Fear Overload Scream Park reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway contest without notice. Fear Overload Scream Park also reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.
Video & Photography
ScareGrounds PDX may take and use images & video of all guests. ScareGrounds PDX at all times reserves the right to videotape patrons, and take still images, and to utilize those images and videos for any reason, including marketing, advertising, promotion, on social media, live streaming on the Internet, for safety and security, for documentation as evidence in a legal or criminal matter or other investigation, for news reporting, and otherwise in an unrestricted manner for legitimate purposes. All property ownership of such materials, and copyright in and to all such materials, shall belong exclusively to ScareGrounds PDX in perpetuity, without any compensation or other consideration to any guest or other person in, on or around the ScareGrounds PDX property, Oaks Park property, or parking lot.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use (including without limitation the validity, construction, and performance of duties related to the Terms of Use) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the laws of the State of California without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.
You shall first contact us at info@fearoverload.com regarding any claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use, or any breach thereof, or the use of our Sites, except such claims or controversies for which injunctive relief is available. Any claim or controversy that cannot be resolved by the parties after the exercise of good faith discussion within thirty (30) days shall be finally settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules including the Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes (collectively, “AAA Rules”), and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. The AAA Rules are available online at adr.org. You agree that, by accepting these Terms of Use, you and Fear Overload are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action. These Terms of Use evidence a transaction in interstate commerce, and thus the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision. Unless you and Fear Overload agree otherwise, any arbitration hearings will take place in the state of California.
In the event that binding arbitration is not enforceable, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of any federal or state court located in the State of California, U.S.A. for the resolution any disputes. Any cause of action you may have with respect to your use of our site must be commenced within six (6) months after the claim or cause of action arises.
